The Research Analyst Stock Screener is a web-based tool, designed to filter and rank both U.S. and
Canadian companies, using fundamental data, in order to find and identify companies in which to invest.
Updated weekly, the tool allows an investor to select companies from 50 screening variables such as
Price, P/E ratio, Earnings per share, Book value, Dividend yield etc.
If the user is unfamiliar with what criteria to input, they can
pick one of 7 pre-defined screens from a drop down menu.
By selecting a pre-defined screen, the inputs are automatically
filled in with the parameters that we have chosen. A
user can then fine tune any of our choices before clicking
on the Submit button to do the search.
A results table will then display the stock symbols of the
companies that match the criteria, and the columns of
financial data on which the screening was performed. All
columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order.
Industry groups (such as, Banks or Technology Companies)
can also be used to help refine the search.
The screener can work as a stand alone research tool, or if
desired, the list of companies in the results table can be
linked directly to a Zacks research report or other content
on your site, such as a stock chart or news headlines.
When a user clicks on a ticker symbol, the corresponding
Zacks report or other content will automatically appear.
The Research Analyst is an essential tool that will quickly
identify investment opportunities, perform ranking of industry
peers and provide key fundamental financial ratios that
would otherwise take hours to calculate and analyze.
